We are looking for a dedicated SE Team Leader for seating systems within BMW vehicle development. The ideal candidate has experience within the BMW environment and a proven background in project management. Fluency in German and English is required. A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field is preferred. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include ownership of engineering, design, quality, cost and timing targets, as well as leading suppliers from concept development through to series production. You will ensure the implementation of requirements and specifications, coordinate release activities throughout the development process, evaluate concepts and validate engineering data. In addition, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating change management activities and project interfaces.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a completed technical degree or equivalent engineering qualification. Experience in automotive development projects, ideally within the interior and seating environment, is required. Knowledge of BMW processes, requirements and committee structures is highly desirable. Candidates should be familiar with MS Office, CATIA V5 and common customer/project management tools. A high level of initiative, organizational skills, decision-making ability and conflict resolution skills is expected. Strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to work and the ability to assess the impact of engineering changes are essential. Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken, are required.
